SO I’m playing the part as young Lara, and… trying really hard not to cry because, you see her as this still like… youthful, happy child and you just want her to remain that way. I’m just realizing now that her transformation didn’t start at Yamatai. It started earlier, in her childhood when she lost her dad. It’s so impactful realizing probably, if Lara could change anything, she wouldn’t re-do Yamatai, she’d just save her dad. In her soul, she’s still just that young girl, that saw things she wasn’t supposed to. She just wanted to be able to talk to him, about everything, about her mom. God, if she could do it over… ugh. I’m sad.
